Joe Conforti, president of JC Productions, has 25 years of experience working throughout the United States and abroad. His directing, producing, and filming skills have been honed on a variety of products in every imaginable product category. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.
Directed personalities and celebrities such as: Joe DiMaggio, John McEnroe, Robin Givens, Billie Jean King, Carlos Montalban, Virginia Wade, Akexander Scourby, Ruby Dee, Tommy Lasorda, Chris Evert, Roger Staubach, Debbie Allen, Joan Sutherland and Mohammed Ali.
Clients include: General Mills, Wendy's international, Procter & Gamble, Bristol Myers, BASF/Zerex, The U.S. Marine Corps, Lipton International, Clairol, National Center for Disease Control, NY Telephone, Florida Citrus Commission,Warner-lambert, NASA, Time-life, The Bayer Company, Con Edison, Newsweek Coca-Cola/Sprite, and AT&T.
In addition to his TV commercial work Conforti has produced and directed TV documentaries, educational, industrial, scientific and public service films. For example:
"Jennifer's Chinese Diary"-A one-hour television docudrama aired on PBS now in world wide distribution, accorded a Bronze Medal at the International Film and Television Festival of New York.
"Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture"-A public service film for the New York Public Library promoting this repository of the world's largest collection on black culture.
"Here's Looking At You, Kid!"-A half-hour video/movie created, produced and directed for NASA to explain their Missions To Planet Earth and Earth Observing System Science to Congress, the general public, educators, and students. Copyrighted and now in distribution.
"New York Street Dance 1,2&3", A home video entertainment series about popular American dance, produced for a Japanese distributor and now a best-selling dance video in Japan.
"Tennis Workout To Win", An exercise video featuring Wimbleton winner Verginia Wade. Received 3 stars from Video Review magazine.
